Access Control is coming to the Drill hall – 1st September 2025
The main doors will be locked and opened electronically and access to the Hall can only be made using a 4-digit code preceded by an asterisk eg. *XXXX. (Pressing the asterisk first just ensures that the keypad is cleared of any previous invalid attempts to enter – it acts as a “cancel” button before you enter your 4 digit code)
Any new bookings made online from 1st September will generate a one-off access code which will be active 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after your booked time. If you book more than one session (block booking) all sessions will use the same code.
Bookers must check their booking email confirmation for details of their access code.
Use the keypad on the wall to your right to enter your access code *XXXX to release the door which will close automatically behind you
To exit press firmly on the green button on the wall to your left as you leave
PLEASE DO NOT PROP OPEN THE DOORS AS THEY ARE MAGNETICALLY CONTROLLED
We are particularly proud of this milestone which will mark 8 years to the day when we took over as a new group of volunteers to keep this wonderful building running. I can’t express how much this means to us!
